Want to get to know me a little better?

Well, I’ve always loved good food and have been fascinated by how the body works—so naturally, the two came together.

In the past, I’d spend hours preparing elaborate meals with long ingredient lists and intricate steps. But as life got busier, my approach changed. While my time for meal prep has shrunk, my passion for healthy, delicious food hasn’t—and that’s how Busy Families Nutrition was born.

As a busy mum, I understand the need for quick, wholesome meals that the entire family will enjoy. I believe in a balanced approach to food—nothing is “bad,” everything in moderation. Family meals are key for building healthy eating habits, encouraging kids to try new foods, and fostering better communication and mental well-being.

That said, every family is different. My goal is to help you find a practical, personalized approach to meet your family’s nutritional needs, considering preferences, intolerances, and lifestyle. I’m excited to collaborate with you to build a healthier, happier, and sustainable lifestyle for your family!

I haven't always been a Nutritionist ...

Before studying nutrition, I worked in the demanding IT industry, where I was on call nearly 24/7. My meals swung between gourmet cooking and quick takeout. After years of putting work above my health, I burnt out.

I’d always struggled with headaches and migraines, but now I was frequently unwell—minor colds lasted weeks and required antibiotics. I lost and gained weight, and I was unknowingly depressed. One day, I couldn’t even leave the house to go to work.

I sought help from a naturopath. While the herbs eased my symptoms, it was her nutritional and lifestyle advice that truly transformed my health in just two weeks.

This sparked a career change. I pursued a degree in nutrition while balancing work and maternity leave. Learning how our bodies function and how food fuels those processes was eye-opening.

I’ve also faced my own fertility struggles and the challenge of introducing solids to a child with food sensitivities. Even now, as a busy mom, I deal with meal challenges—like when yesterday’s favorite food becomes today’s reject, or figuring out how to maintain a healthy diet during a long camping trip.

I love tackling these challenges and finding practical solutions. My journey continues, and I’m excited to keep learning along the way.
